Is there a way to easily sort your categories? Am I missing something?

Hi, in the admin, list your categories, and then in the quick entry toolbar there, select "Actual Order" and you can then sort them.

Thanks,
David

This only seems to sort them on the Admin side. I need them sorted on the store side.

Hi Frank, You should see it on the front end as well. That's what it's really designed for.
Perhaps try another browser as maybe it's just a cash issue - Just send all your cash to me... Oops, I mean cache...

Seriously, perhaps a hard refresh (ctrl>refresh) or another browser will show you it's working.

Let us know if it's working.

Thanks,
David

No matter how I sort it in Admin and no amount of full refresh makes a diff. on the website. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Frank

In all honesty there's not really anything you can do wrong. Just click the order drop down and it auto changes.
Is this the pinball website in your profile? Are you seeing the categories change position in the admin?
If it is the pinball website then this how your categories currently show. Does that reflect how you expect
it to look?

The Actual Order in my Quick Entry field isn't working to sort the order that I want my categories to display in the store. Is there another way to go about this now? There used to be numbers that you could change and assign for the order. Now it's just blank.

Thanks,
Kelley

Ecommerce PlusASP v7.2.2

PS: Sorry I just realized I was in the PHP section. Does it matter?

Hi Kelley,
If you're on version 7.2.2 there was a fix for this - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=112927
