Hi All,

I have added attributes to my products and also using the Add On from DLSS.ca to help input the attributes quicker, the attributes menu appears fine on the left, but every time i click on an attribute i am getting myname%40hotmail.co.uk appear at the end of the url ??

https://www.mywebsite.co.uk/products.php?cat=Beauty+Boxes&scri=29&filter=myname%40hotmail.co.uk

Any idea?

Jason

Hi Jason
That's very strange indeed. Have you looked in the Product Attributes admin page to see if there is anything extra in the attribute text? Have you got a URL so we can check what is going on?

Vince,

I put a dummy order through, entered my name, email address, address etc, then submitted to payment page, what happens after that is my email address gets saved in the "Filter By" text box. This is below the Sort by price, Drop down for products to display per page, and then beneath this you get the text box, "Fiter By", why does my email address remain in that text box, this then causes the attribute menu to not work, I don't believe this has anything to do with DLSS attribute selector. I have to clear browsing history to clear the email address from this "Filter by" text box? Really annoying.

Can i just add that I have installed the DLSS attribute selector, this is the best Add On I have ever purchased and saves time when adding and selecting attributes.

Can anyone help advise how I can remove this "Filter by" text box, and the "Sort Order" by has a drop down, but the fields are blank? Any idea?

Have you got a URL so we can check what is going on? Put it in your profile if you don't want it seen on the forum

Hi Mike.

I don't know why but when i sign up and login, and stay signed in, it keeps adding my email address in the "Filter by", so when i click on attributes, the attribute hyper links go to a blank page.

Also the "sort order by" doesnt have anything in the drop down

Jasn

Hi Jason,
I've just created an account and browsed to Home » Business Bags » Briefcases

If I pick 'for her' and then click honey or red everything seems to be functioning as it should and the urls are

products.php?cat=Briefcases&scri=31,30
and
products.php?cat=Briefcases&scri=16,30

So I can't actually reproduce this issue you're having with the url email suffix. Have you tried another browser at all?
The sort order drop down is blank, what do you have in the main settings of the admin for the sort order?

Hi Mike,

I have removed this from the menu now, not sure why it was doing this.

It is nothing to do with your attribute selector at all. I think it might be to do with when Windows asks you to save the user name and password for when you sign in, and it was replicating my email address in that "filter by", not fully sure.

Thanks

Jason
