I want to edit the Product Review to allow for Silent bids on items. Where is this located?

Thank you,
Roger

Hi Roger
I have to say I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do here. Could you give me a few more details?

Vince

I want the change the name of the REVIEW product to ENTER SILENT BID. And then change the form to: drop the RATING, leave the POSTED BY, change the HEADING to my bid, and change the COMMENT to Email Address.

Can this be done?

thx Roger

Hi Roger, all of that text should be in the languagefile located in the vsadmin/inc folder.

So for English it should be languagefile_en and you open that in your text or html editor and perform a search for the term(s) you are looking for.
Product Reviews for example - is xxRvPrRe="Product Reviews"

You would copy this line over to your vsadmin/includes.asp file and change the entry to whatever you like.

xxRvPrRe="Product Bids"

Save, the includes.asp file and upload to the server.

Thanks,
David

So far so good...

I need to get rid of the line RATING.

Also, I need to make the box that used to be for comments smaller for the email address.

JMO... FWIW

Wouldn't it be easier to just create a form to do exactly what you are wanting.

I use this place for forms I use.
