Slow Products Page after adding sidebar filters

wellsuited New Member 96 Posts	Posted - 10/20/2023 : 08:37:33 When I added the sidebar filter to the products page the page went from loading in less than a second to over 10 seconds. It doesn't matter if the category has one product or 100 it still takes a long time to load. I tried installing on a dedicated server with more RAM but that did not change the speed for this page. Are there any settings to speed this function up?
Vince Administrator 42955 Posts	Posted - 10/21/2023 : 05:28:10 Hi Wellsuited There aren't functions to speed it up as normally to tell the truth, speed isn't an issue. Have you got a lot of product attributes defined maybe? And have you been using the top filter before turning on the side filter and if so was that a problem? And have you got the latest version installed (which is normally a good first step.) If it's unusually high, and you have a huge amount of attributes assigned, if may be helpful to reduce the products per page if that's set to a high number. David
wellsuited New Member 96 Posts	Posted - 10/23/2023 : 11:03:45 Yes, lots of products and product attributes. The top filter has the same time loads. Limiting the page results has not change on the page load time. I am loading 10 per page. Is there a way to flush the products and have the sidebar load after? Or anything like that to speed up the page.
