Why would I get this error when setting up an option with a dependent option
"The following product isn't currently available in our store: error"

I have an option that features 5 colors of an item, each color having a dependent option for the item's length. Each item shows stock, but I continue to get this error, The following product isn't currently available in our store: error

Any thoughts?

What's the stock set to for each color?

Are you using the alt prod ID on your size and color options?

If you're using stock by options I don't think it's going to work

Yes, we are using stock by options. Is there any way to keep track of stock like this?

You need to use the alt ID method, I've tried using the exact method you're using and it doesn't work. Give me half an hour and I'll set up the same product up on my own site as a test so you can see how it functions.

You need to create the permutations for your color/size options as hidden products

Here's the set up:


There's a download link below for the csv file, just set the category id to the correct one before you upload it. Make sure your color options have a stock value of one and hide the stock values from the options so as not to confuse people.

Then all you need to do is add the relevant product ID to your size/color options (the second option)

uploading the csv and new items are done. Im confused on how the first option and second option are tied together.

I created a new item and have hidden it from customers for now.
