Hello,

I just updated and I use USPS Shipping Integration for international order and I'm getting this error below. The link in the error doesn't do anything for me. How do I solve this?

Hi Josiah
You need to get the new oAuth USPS credentials and to do that go to your ECT Admin -> Shipping Admin -> USPS Admin page and there are instructions about how to do that.

I've got two customers with this error. I did run the updates so I can now 'see' the instructions. Do I need them to give me the:

1. Consumer Key
2. Secret

Do I need an account # as well?

Do I pick retail or commercial from the dropdown?

Check all the packaging boxes?

I'm getting these errors at https://genematras.com/cart.php when I put a test item in the cart. The customer did give me the consumer key and secret but I'm not sure what we have for the account # or if there's some other issue.

I've made some changes in the updater so that the error message is a bit more user friendly, but all it will say is that the consumer key and secret are not valid. You don't have to have an account number but it seems that for some reason the credentials they have given you are not what is required. If you like, send them to my email vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com and I'll take a look.

I was letting the customers get these credentials directly from USPS in their name so I didn't 'see' the creds. Do they get emailed to them or are they on screen? So really they just need the Consumer Key and Secret and leave the account # blank?

If the consumer key and secret are correct they will not get the error they are getting. I don't think the account number has anything to do with this.

I have followed the instructions steps 1-3... the USPS Developer portal gave me the Key and the secret... I plugged those into the USPS Admin but I am still getting the error message on checkout.... Please Help!?!?

I can't get in to USPS to try this at the moment, but when you created the APP, were you asked what you wanted access for? If so, make sure you choose Rating and Tracking. If that's not the case, please send the credentials you received to my email (vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com) and I'll try here.
