Ecommerce Templates Newsletter March 2012

Welcome to the March 2012 Ecommerce Templates newsletter

Welcome to the March edition of the Ecommerce Templates Newsletter where we announce the release of Version 6.1.4 along with an overview of the forthcoming 6.2 release and a round-up of recent ECT news.

New release – Version 6.1.4

This was mainly a bug-fix release although it does contain some handy mini-features like being able to sort manufacturers alphabetically, MD5 Hashing feature of Authorize.net (Auth.net) SIM and support for the new PayPal Hosted Solution.

Updaters as always are available from www.ecommercetemplates.com/updaters.asp - it doesn't matter which version you are currently running, you can always update to the latest and greatest without going through all previous versions first.

Forthcoming release - Version 6.2

You may have been following the thread here with some insights into the exciting new features which will be available in the upcoming 6.2 release – just today we have announced the addition of back ordering to the long list of much requested features. We're not entirely finished with the feature list so there's still time to add your suggestions or "vote" on others.

We're pretty excited about the additions we've compiled so far in 6.2 and we very much hope you are too. We've focused exclusively on user requests so we're confident there's something for everyone.

We also published Virtual Gadgets this week, again a CSS based layout with huge potential for customization.

If you're looking to overhaul your store, you don't have to pay full price for a replacement, for $49.95 you get a full set of files running the latest version, This service is available from our upgrades page.

Pinterest

You may have seen the buzz surrounding the fastest growing social networking site that allows users to create online image boards and then share those collections with other users. This is a fantastic medium for store owners to get your products seen and shared.

We have set up our own set of boards so if you'd like us to share your products and / or pin your location, let us know and we'll happily oblige. You can also join in the discussion.

On a related note, we have recently revamped our Live Stores Gallery - if you'd like your store featuring, drop us a note. If you're not listed in the directory there, you can add your store here.

As always, we warmly welcome feedback on any topic covered in the newsletter and suggestions for features you'd like to see in future editions.
